Study

We asked patients after their treatment to complete a questionnaire (which took about 15 minutes). In total, we surveyed 304 patients.

The main issues and objectives were:

  • What is a media experience?
  • This in comparison to other media (magazines, brochures, newspapers)
  • Is this kind of media effective?
  • What are the needs of Dutch patients?

Some findings:

  • 83% wait for more than 5 minutes, 38% for more than 10 minutes.
  • 99% watched the messages.
  • 85% rated it as very informative.
  • 78% rated it as a contribution to a modern dental office.
  • 52% want to take better care of their teeth after seeing the messages.
  • 61% would like to get more information about products, 52% about the practice, 65% about treatments and 73% about healthier teeth.
  • 83% rated the program with >8 which is higher than the average 6.5 for other forms of communication via a TV screen.
